About
A Home for Every Child in Israel (Bayit L’Kol Yeled) is the leading social nonprofit organization for treating high-risk children and youth as well as their families. Our NPO works to develop expertise in child abuse prevention and views its mission as the key to a better society.
Every year approximately 1700 people are treated in a variety of programs that manage neglect, maltreatment and sexual abuse; these include both out-of-home care settings for children removed from their homes and numerous community programs. Our NPO also trains therapists and educators through courses and continuing education programs in its manifold fields of expertise.
A Home for Every Child was founded in 1975 and operates nationwide in cooperation with all parties of the community responsible for the welfare of children and their families. The NPO offers its services to all sectors of Israel’s population with cross-cultural sensitivity. A Home for Every Child holds certificate of proper management and is recognized as a public institution for the purpose of donations according to Section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance.
