The future of a severely neglected or abused child is dependent on the quality of care given to the child and his or her parents. A Home for Every Child (in Hebrew, Bayit L’Kol Yeled, or BiLY), is dedicated to holistic and professional care for children in extreme distress. Israel’s social service and court authorities turn to BiLY to provide therapeutic treatment for children in crisis, guidance for the professionals who treat them and intervention and counseling for their parents. BiLY also provides therapeutic after-school centers (afternoon and early evening care) for young children whose parents are unable to meet their essential needs.
