The current research report documents the findings on online care for children during the Coronavirus pandemic. With its outbreak, due to lockdowns and social distancing requirements, our clinical therapists were required to adapt without prior preparation to remote treatment of children and parents. The transition from face-to-face to online treatment is challenging given its uncommonness in Israel. Therefore, we decided to supplement this transition to remote care for abused and abusive children with research. The study examined our clinical therapists’ readiness and willingness to engage in online therapy, the actual implementation of therapy and its extent, therapy efficacy and quality, and therapy satisfaction of both therapist and patient. The research report includes a review of recent international literature on online child care, description of research findings, discussion and conclusions.
