This document presents a therapeutic intervention model developed by the psychosocial team at the Re’im Transitional Home, an out-of-home placement setting for traumatized children at an early age. The model demonstrates stages of therapeutic intervention aimed at helping these children to process the trauma of leaving home and separating from their parents. It includes treatment principles that can help anyone working with trauma-affected preschoolers, removed from home to out-of-home placement settings.
